The InterCombi - Ticket building bridges between countries
It's great to use the money from EU projects to build bridges between countries. As in the project Interconnect, in which the planning group of Region Rostock is an associated member.
It aims to improve the connection between Rostock and its Danish neighbour Guldborgsund. For the past five years, there has been a town twinning between the two. The Intercombi ticket, which combines all the necessary tickets for the journey from Rostock to Nyköbing (DK), can now also be booked on the day of departure via the VVW app.
For school classes, the crossing can be promoted during the meetings we organize in schools with our project experts. On the 7th of August 2019, many artists who participated in the international art project GRAUZONE in Gedser (DK) and came to the opening of the exhibition also benefited from such a sponsored crossing.
