A cruise from Warnemünde

If you are planning a cruise from Rostock-Warnemünde this year and would like to travel by train, there is no problem with that!

To arrive at the cruise terminal in the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde, frist you need to get to Rostock Central Train Station. From there, the S-Bahn will take you straight to Warnemünde. The S-Bahn trains goes every 7.5 minutes during rush hour and in the season, otherwise every 15 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. 

Once you get at the Warnemünde train station (final station) it is only a few meters on foot to the Warnemünde Cruise Center. Some of the long-distance trains of Deutsche Bahn AG also go directly to Warnemünde.

If you need a ticket for the journey from Rostock main station to Warnemünde, the single trip costs EUR 2.30 (VVW single ticket for the Rostock tariff zone). Tickets are available at the machines or in the customer centers of all transport companies. You need to remember however, to validate your tickets on the platform before starting your journey.
